About Weihong Yuan, D.O.M., A.P., M.D. (in China)
Dr. Yuan, a medical doctor specializing in acupuncture, Chinese herbology and TuiNa (Chinese massage) in China since 1989, practiced in the department of acupuncture, the Sixth Hospital of Beijing (over 500 beds), China from 1989 to 1995. During this period of time, she also clinically instructed many medical doctors and acupuncturists from the US, Canada, Europe, Japan, Korea and many other countries for the International Acupuncture Training Center - an internationally recognized institute.
Dr. Yuan has held a national certification in acupuncture from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine since 1996, she is a board certified and licensed acupuncture physician and doctor of oriental medicine in the State of Florida. She is a licensed acupuncturist in the State of Maryland as well.
